Both you tube and site traffic as a whole have been quieter this last month so a big thank you to those that support this site/channel through donations as revenues from Adsense have also been done markedly as less traffic came this month. So thank you to
Chris L.
Just the one donator this month so even this has dropped. Not sure why, perhaps this time of year is quiet or it’s just random. Chris is a regular donator and I thank him (or is it a Christine?, looking at audience demographics probably not) especially for his support over the months.
Thanks for the comment. It’s definitely Chris not Christine btw! I think that regular appearances on Youtube / Twitter help to raise people’s profiles and therefore donations, although I appreciate it takes a lot to produce frequent videos. Probably explains the number of “mailbag” and tear down / equipment review videos that appear on Youtube as these are probably easier to make than ones featuring “new” content that require design and development effort. Stockpiling videos / blog articles in advance and then drip feeding them on to the Internet might be a way of keeping your profile active.
Sorry for late reply Chris, I never received an email saying a comment had been made. You are right in what you say, more content would improve things and that it does take time to develop the software. I’m working on Frogger audio at the moment and of course work h as been busy of late. Tear downs are very quick videos, I did one sometime ago and it was all done and dusted very quickly. Thanks for you continued support and comments 🙂
